Please include a copy of your receipt with your Sushi Taxi Rewards card number and the email address used to register for the program, and we will help you recover your missing points.

  1. HOW LONG IS THE WELCOME PROMOTION FOR BONUS REWARDS POINTS VALID FOR?

The WELCOME Rewards points are available to members enrolled in the program and are valid for 30 days from the day your card and profile are created online. Your reward will be activated upon purchase.

  1. CAN I EXCHANGE MY POINTS FOR CASH?

       It is not possible to redeem your Sushi Dollars for cash.

  1. CAN I SHARE MY POINTS WITH MY FRIENDS?

Sushi Dollars points are not transferable.

You can start redeeming your points as soon as you have 1,000 points or more in your account.

Sushi Dollars rewards program members can earn points with every purchase, but cannot REDEEM them until:

  1. a) the online card registration and profile creation are completed;
  2. b) an accumulation of 1,000 points or more in your account, which is a $2.50 discount.
  3. HOW DO I CHECK MY POINTS BALANCE?

Your point balance will also be printed on the receipt at the location.

Good question! Send us an email at info@sushitaxi.ca and tell us which card you would prefer to keep, the numbers on both cards and the email you used to create your profile. We will modify your account accordingly.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SECTION 1: SUSHI DOLLARS REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

REGISTRATION – Registration of your Sushi Dollars Rewards card at the following link https://sushitaxi.datacandyinfo.com/login is required in order to enjoy the benefits of the program. Please ensure that you have entered your contact information correctly, as well as a valid email address.

PARTICIPATION – All participating Sushi Taxi locations will offer 10 Sushi Dollars for every dollar purchased on site or online.

TRANSACTION – A valid transaction requires presentation of the Rewards card, the phone number linked to the account, the email linked to the account or an online Sushi Taxi account by the cardholder or registration of a virtual card with a minimum purchase of $2.50 before taxes at Sushi Taxi restaurants across Quebec.

LOST ITEMS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS – If you have registered your Sushi Taxi Rewards card, your Sushi Dollar Rewards account is protected from the moment you notify us that your Sushi Taxi Rewards card is lost or stolen, and we are able to verify the owner of the card. We will freeze the remaining balance on your Sushi Dollar Rewards account from the time you notify us and transfer the remaining balance to a new Sushi Taxi Rewards card. New cards are mailed within 2-4 weeks. Sushi Taxi and its branches cannot be held responsible for lost, expired or stolen Sushi Taxi points. All cardholders are responsible for their cash receipts issued to them, provided that the receipt is submitted to info@sushitaxi.ca within 60 days of the transaction in question.

NETWORK – All Sushi Taxi Rewards cardholders will be able to take advantage of the benefits offered by participating Sushi Taxi restaurants by earning rewards that are redeemable upon purchases at participating Sushi Taxi locations across Canada.

ACCOUNT STATUS – Sushi Taxi cardholders can check their account balance online here or by emailing Sushi Taxi Customer Service at info@sushitaxi.ca

POINTS REDEMPTION AND FREE ITEMS – Sushi Taxi Rewards cardholders can redeem their points for potential purchases at participating Sushi Taxi locations.  Sushi Taxi Rewards cardholders may redeem discounts and/or free items issued to them within 30 days of the date the free item was issued.

TERMINATION AND EXPIRY – All active Sushi Taxi Rewards cards are valid from the date of registration. Any cardholder with an unused card for any period of 12 consecutive months from the last transaction is considered an inactive member and all program benefits are terminated.

AMENDMENTS – Sushi Taxi and its restaurants reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate the Sushi Dollars Rewards program, add or eliminate partners, and/or change, limit, modify or add rules to the Sushi Dollars Rewards program, including, but not limited to, imposing time limits and changes to the value of points without prior notice at any time.

LAW – Except where required by law, or as set forth in the program rules, Sushi Dollars Rewards points have no cash value.

SECTION 2: SUSHI TAXI GIFT CARD PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

About your Gift Card:

The gift card allows you to deposit an amount on the card for future purchases at Sushi Taxi locations.

The amount you deposit into your Gift Card account constitutes payment in advance only for goods and services at participating Sushi Taxi locations. There are no credit cards, lines of credit, overdraft protection or deposit accounts associated with the Gift Card. Unless required by law or permitted by this Agreement, any amount deposited to your Gift Card account is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash at Sushi Taxi restaurants.  No interest on funds deposited to the gift card will be accrued or paid or credited to you by Sushi Taxi.

Use of the Gift Card is limited to participating businesses in Canada. We reserve the right not to accept, authorize a deposit to the Account or issue a new Gift Card, or otherwise limit the Gift Card if we have reasonable grounds to believe that its use is unauthorized, fraudulent or otherwise illegal.

Protect your gift card by registering it

After purchasing your gift card, you can register it here to protect your balance in case of loss or theft.

Load and reload funds to your gift card account

You can load or reload funds onto a Gift Card account at participating stores in Canada using cash, credit or debit cards (where available). The Gift Card must be activated at a participating store. The amount deposited to your Gift Card account can be used immediately. A minimum amount of $5.00 must be deposited to your Gift Card account. Sushi Taxi may change the minimum amount that must be deposited to your Gift Card account at any time at its discretion and we will post such changes online at sushitaxi.ca

Expiration of Card Balances

Sushi Taxi does not charge any fees for the issuance or activation of your gift card. Sushi Taxi cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

Receipts and Statements

You can check your Gift Card balance at participating businesses or online. Transaction statements for gift card accounts are not mailed to cardholders. When you use the Gift Card, the balance amount will be printed on the point-of-sale receipt. The receipt will be given to you by the cashier and will indicate that the purchase was made using the Gift Card and the balance on your card. You should keep your receipts to ensure that the balance on your account is accurate. You will need to submit your receipts in the event of a balance dispute.

Billing Errors and Adjustments

Sushi Taxi reserves the right to correct your Gift Card account balance if we believe a clerical, billing or accounting error has occurred. Sushi Taxi cannot be held responsible for any billing error unless you notify Sushi Taxi within 60 days of the date of the relevant transaction. You must monitor your transactions closely.

Responsibility for Unauthorized Transactions

Because the Gift Card is used to pay for purchases at participating businesses in Canada, you are responsible for all transactions associated with your Gift Card, including unauthorized transactions. If your registered Gift Card is lost, stolen or destroyed, it can be replaced with the remaining balance by contacting us at info@sushitaxi.ca as soon as possible. You must provide your card number and you will be asked certain questions about your account. Your Gift Card balance is only protected from the time you notify us that your Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged and we are able to verify ownership of the card. We will freeze the remaining balance on your Gift Card at the time you notify us and transfer the remaining balance to a new Gift Card. Replacement cards cost $2.50 and will be mailed within 2-4 weeks of the date of notification.

Changes to This Agreement

Sushi Taxi may amend the terms and conditions of this agreement at any time, including the rights or obligations of both parties. Sushi Taxi will post the terms and conditions and the amended agreement online here. As permitted by applicable law, any changes will be effective when the amended agreement is posted on the website or when you are otherwise notified in a notice to you. Unless otherwise notified, the change will apply to your future and existing Gift Cards. We will consider you to have accepted the changes if you do not notify us to the contrary in writing within 20 days of the date of the notice or if you use your Gift Card after such notice period. If you do not agree to the changes, your Gift Card will be cancelled upon written request and any Gift Card balance will be refunded.

Suspension or Termination of This Agreement

Sushi Taxi reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to eliminate participants, suspend or terminate this Agreement in whole or in part, at any time and from time to time, for any reason, without any notice or liability to you, including termination of the Gift Card Program. If Sushi Taxi terminates this Agreement without stating a reason, Sushi Taxi will issue credits for in-store purchases equal to the balance on your Gift Card. In-Store Shopping Credits will be issued to Gift Cardholders who have contacted Sushi Taxi through the Banner Site and have sent their Gift Card to Sushi Taxi. The amount of in-store credits will be equal to the applicable balance on the gift card at the time the card is received by Sushi Taxi.

Applicable Laws

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes a complete and exclusive memorandum of understanding between you, Sushi Taxi and the participating affiliates and consolidates and supersedes all prior agreements. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be eliminated to the minimum extent necessary to keep this Agreement in effect.
