“I would like to thank all the people and all the companies like Sushi Taxi that contribute to Opération Enfant Soleil, because it gives us and all the sick children in Quebec one more chance, to have better equipment, facilities that are better adapted and more access to care services, which we normally might not be able to have, and for us that makes a big difference,” expressed Lexie’s mother.
I have trouble with my legs. I don’t walk like other people and I can’t always do the same things. It makes my legs more tired. Sometimes it’s harder to stand up. I have a walker to help me.
For now, Lexie mostly feels her condition in her legs. She still feels it in her upper limbs, but it is not as pronounced.
What is the latest news, how is Lexie feeling now?
Lexie is doing great! She is stable and that is what is most encouraging. Not losing anything is for us the most positive thing.
Why is Opération Enfant Soleil and its telethon so important?
They are so important because they allow sick children and their families to have access to rooms, equipment, material and much more. It also allows them to be closer to home, when it wouldn’t be possible in some cases. It is important because it gives strength, hope and courage to many children and families.
What would you like to tell Sushi Taxi customers for this 2022 campaign?
We would like to thank you very much. Every little gesture and every donation, no matter how much, makes a difference in our lives and in the lives of all the sick children in Quebec and their families. We thank you for encouraging a company that does a lot for the cause.
A message from Opération Enfant Soleil:
“For 35 years now, we have made every effort to finance equipment that allows children to be treated close to home, in regional hospitals, and to be able to benefit from spaces that are dedicated to healing them, in addition to cutting edge technological equipment in major pediatric centres in the province. We could not make this difference without the generous participation of partners like Sushi Taxi; once again this year and despite all their challenges, they have mobilized admirably for the well-being of sick children. Because small miracles don’t happen alone. Thank you for being there for the children of Quebec!” – David Archambault, Vice President, Corporate Development and Partnerships at Opération Enfant Soleil.
A message from Sushi Taxi:
